I LOVE Becky/Adam but I think I’m going to love this Becky/Adam/Imogen stuff (because it was obvious they’re going there with Adam/Imogen from the promos). FINALLY some love for Adam!
I am very interested as to how the Adam-Becky-Imogen love triangle will play out. I’m actually surprised that Imogen is becoming the boyfriend stealer, even more so with Adam, since he’s Fiona’s old “fling”. I’m predicting she will learn her lesson and grow up when she finds out that she can’t meddle to get her way.
I’m guessing that Adam will not be interested in Imogen, though Becky thinks he is. This will cause her to do something incredibly stupid out of jealousy and ruin the relationship.
As much as I wish Adam would find someone other than Becky, I’m not sure how I feel about it being Imogen. But it will definitely be interesting to watch.
I normally don’t like triangles because either one pairing is clearly better than the other and the third person is just angst for them or both pairings suck, but Bekcy/Adam/Imogen could be interesting. I like Becky and Adam’s chemistry and they have been developed enough as a couple that I can invest in their relationship. I also can buy into Imogen and Adam as it makes more sense than Fimogen getting together did. They are bandmates, Imogen really has no one else to hangout with with Fiona and Eli gone, Adam is the only other person besides maybe Connor who would appreciate her quirkiness and hobbies, and Adam will probably feel insecure with Becky being surrounded by all these hot (cisgendered) guys most of the summer. The more I think about it, this sounds more interesting than the Manny/Craig/Ashley triangle which was a really good triangle.
Seems like the same old, same old with Alli and Dallas.
As much as I love Imogen, Adam and Becky this is going to be awkward.. Imogen dated Eli, Adam & Imogen dated Fiona. Plus Adam & Imogen are best friends with Eli. As again awkward. This is why I love Degrassi. I also think Imogen will be very accepting to Adam. One thing I do know Adam is not a cheater. So either Becky gets overly jealous and ruins her own relationship.. Or Adam with out thinking will use Imogen like Eli did in the beginning of S11. But I will pee my pants if Imogen is really after Dallas or Drew and is pumping Adam for info.
As for Alli I think when she comes back from Paris I think things will spark up again with Dallas and her. But I think Dallas will have problems juggling a relationship and being a daddy.
In real life this would be on awkward. On Degrassi? It’s, uh, just another day at Degrassi. I mean, remember when Holly J got with Declan after he hooked up with Jane, but she & Jane were still tight? Or how Spinner dated EVERY girl?
I feel stupid for not seeing the whole Adam/Imogen/Becky thing lmao but if that’s the case I can’t see Adam choosing Imogen. Maybe but I feel like that’s be immaculating considering he’s FTM and Imogen might like him for F parts.
If my theory of Imogen being pansexual (something I mentioned awhile back) is true, then I will dance for joy. I think it would be interesting plot-line for Imogen, and seeing as how I don’t see many pansexual character in the media (the only one i can kind of think of is Captain Jack Harkness from Dr. Who/Torchwood but not sure if that counts because of the aliens) I think with the way her character has been established, she is completely being set up for it. I mean she tried to go after Eli, she dated Fiona and now she might go after Adam. And to me she seems like the type of character who would be gender blind, or a persons sex irrelevant in her attraction to them. So to me, this seems like an ideal set up for a storyline where she discovers she is pansexual. But this is Degrassi, so I am not getting my hopes up.
Besides, I always thought her and Adam would make a cute couple, and I totally support the ship.
As for Adam and Becky, I just really don’t see them lasting. Maybe it’s just my personal dislike of the character Becky, but I seriously think Adam can do better than her. However I think Adam is too much of a sweetheart, that I have a hard time seeing him being the one to break up with Becky. So if the breakup does happen, I foresee it on either Becky’s end or she actually does something so heinous that warrants Adam to grow a pair and actually break it off with her.
So, if Imogen bucks up, which I think she will after realizing her and Fiona were just too incompatible as a couple, she could be just the girlfriend Adam deserves.
So all I can do now is sit back and see how this triangle unfolds.
why do imogen and fiona have to break up? if that didn’t happen, imogen won’t have to steal a guy from another girl. like in season 11 imogen going after eli when he is still very much in love with clare, and now she’s going after adam? i don’t want imogen to look like the bad guy.

Imogen isn’t established as being strictly a lesbian though. I think it’s clear she’s more bisexual, so I like that their taking this route.
